When you’re just starting your business, your “why” can be a bit fuzzy. Why are you diving into this? Maybe you had a great product idea and thought, “Why not?” Whatever the reason, having a clear story is key to forming a deeper connection with your audience.

I’ve seen so many companies without a solid brand story. You visit their website, and sure, you know what they do, but you don’t know why they do it. That disconnect makes it feel like nothing more than a transaction. That’s why I’ve decided to pivot.

To Pivot or Not to Pivot

A modern illustration showing a road with an arrow making a sharp turn, symbolizing a business pivoting or changing in direction. The background features vibrant gradients of blue, orange, green, and yellow, with abstract shapes. The road is smooth and clean, emphasizing the turning point to represent strategic decision-making. The design is colorful, yet minimalistic, with no text or letters, focusing on the concept of transformation and adaptability.
A change of direction in the road.

When I was looking at my friend’s business the other day, I started thinking about the purpose of my own. I initially started this blog because I loved helping people, and my business knowledge has been growing a lot; however, my business didn’t have a niche, and it felt like I was just providing basic business knowledge that wouldn’t make me stand out. That’s when I sat down and focused on what my strengths were.

Since I was a kid, I’ve always loved filmmaking and storytelling. This love for stories had me creating random skits and writing short films throughout my life. I even taught myself proper story structures, character development, and more.

So, when I thought about what I could do differently, I decided, why not combine the two? That way, I can help people build a better brand and have a story their customers can relate to.

From now on, you can expect this blog to focus more on brand-building. Having a good-selling product is great, but when you create a story behind your brand, it strengthens the trust and relationship your customers have with you, leading to repeat sales.
